Established in 1986, Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity is the private equity division of listed investment management company Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. Through both organic growth and strategic acquisition, the business has grown to its present size, with over £139.1 million* of funds under management, and a team of over forty one professionals providing the full range of private equity services to our client base, which comprises VCTs, Investment Trusts and specialist Investment Companies.

Through our Growth Capital investment team, we specialise in investing between £1 million and £10 million in UK based unquoted companies. Our dedicated Portfolio Management team is responsible for monitoring and managing all portfolio companies, and our Operations team provides our client base with a complete accounting, reporting and company secretarial back office service.

We have nationwide coverage through our offices in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Glasgow, Inverness, London and Manchester, which provides us with an intimate knowledge of local corporate finance markets, and also enables our teams to be entirely mobile, moving around the country to source the best deals, wherever they may be.
